Elena Papamichael successfully persuaded the CPS to discontinue proceedings against her 15-year-old client charged with Class A drug supply and possessing a bladed article.
The CPS alleged that the defendant was running drugs as part of a county lines operation. There was a positive conclusive grounds decision which found that the defendant was a victim of child criminal exploitation.
Upon receipt of written representations that the prosecution should not proceed, the Crown discontinued the case.
