Damien Joined Garden Court Chambers in 2013 as a Credit Controller later becoming deputy Head of Revenue Control upon its inception.  Damien primarily deals with chambers Historic/complex debt, High Cost and Fees incurred under the CFA’s.

The team deals with receiving and considering Points of Dispute and offers from solicitors and costs draftsman, liaising with Counsel and taking instructions for Replies to Points of Dispute, offers and negotiations to obtain the best recovery possible.

Background

Damien began working within the legal sector as a Court Usher for the Immigration Tribunal Service (Taylor House).  After leaving the Court Service, Damien was offered a role as a Chambers clerk by a barrister who regularly attended Taylor House and would appear in the Courts he was managing.

Since then Damien has not looked back, holding senior positions in x3 Public Law sets, later becoming a Senior Clerk to a Temple based set of 52 members.
