Stephen Knafler QC has been retained to represent the applicants in a Supreme Court of Gibraltar test case on the independence of the judiciary, and the legality of constitutional monitoring arrangements of such independence.

The case arises out of what is probably Gibraltar's largest ever (£35m plus) financial fraud case, surrounding the collapse of the international commercial law firm, Marrache & Co.
