Secretary of State for Work & Pensions v Alexander Slavin (by his litigation friend)[2011] EWCA Civ 1515.(Pill LJ, Richards LJ, Davis LJ): The Court of Appeal held that a person who was accommodated in a care home whose staff were not professionally trained nurses was not "undergoing medical or other treatment as an in-patient in a hospital or similar institution" within the meaning of the Social Security (Disability Living Allowance) Regulations 1991 regulation 12A.
