Garden Court Chambers is delighted to announce the arrival of Sean Horstead to the Crime Team.
"Having been a first six pupil here at the, then, 2 Garden Court under the supervision of Courtenay Griffiths, and having known and worked with so many of the criminal and inquest law practitioners in the intervening twelve years or so, I have a strong sense that I have 'come home'. I enjoyed six eventful years at Mitre House Chambers and an exciting time, before that, at Acre Lane Chambers in Brixton.
However, to join a set that has managed so effectively to achieve that difficult marriage of a first class, professional organization with an absolutely undiluted, passionate commitment to the pursuit of social justice and the protection of rights is something of which I am very proud. The welcome from staff and tenants alike has been wonderful and I am really looking forward to continuing to develop my practice in criminal defence and inquests in such a committed and supportive environment, I hope for many years to come."
