Garden Court Chambers wishes to congratulate our colleague Sean Horstead on his appointment as Area Coroner for Essex.
He will be greatly missed as a member of chambers, having spent 13 years with Garden Court. Sean was called to the Bar in 1996.
He has been sitting frequently as Assistant Coroner in a number of jurisdictions in recent years. Sean has been a staunch advocate for bereaved families in inquests up and down the country.
Described by Chambers & Partners as “an exceptional inquest advocate”, he brings over 25 years experience as a leading inquests lawyer to his new full time role.
