Owen Davies QC statement

Ian Macdonald has been a member of Two Garden Court Chambers since its beginnings, joining in 1974. He is regarded in the profession as the 'father' of immigration law - writing the first book on immigration law published by Butterworths in 1969. His book, 'Macdonald's Immigration Law and Practice' (now co-edited with Frances Webber), is about to go into its 6th edition and is the standard textbook used by most immigration practitioners, immigration officials, Adjudicators and Judges.
