We are delighted to learn that civil liberties and human rights barrister Leslie Thomas has been awarded an honorary doctorate of law by his alma mater Kingston University London.
Citing his Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year award last year, and his Star Individual ranking in Chambers UK, Kingston said in their announcement that Leslie's Doctor of Laws honoris causa was being awarded "in recognition of his outstanding contribution to civil rights".
Leslie Thomas is a member of the Garden Court Claims Against the Police and Public Authorities and Inquests teams.
