The Garden Court Chambers Housing Team has responded to the Government’s “Technical consultation on changes to the homelessness legislation”.
Garden Court Chambers is arguing for the earliest possible assistance to prevent homelessness, including when a notice is served on a tenant or occupier, and for the government to continue to require local authorities to help homeless applicants given private rented sector accommodation if that accommodation ends within two years.
