As a leading set of public and administrative law practitioners, Garden Court has always sought to challenge unfair or unlawful decisions of state institutions through Judicial Review. The government is seeking to, in its own words "stem the growth in applications for judicial reviews", hence its proposed package of reforms.

You can read the submissions made by our Civil Team, Housing Team and Immigration Team here.

Solicitors, academics, NGOs and others concerned about the proposed reforms are strongly encouraged to make their own responses to the Ministry of Justice consultation. They are welcome to use our submissions as the basis of their own. The consultation closes on 24 January.
