Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It is with great sadness that we share the news that our dear friend and colleague, Di Middleton QC, has died. As some of you know she had been living life to the fullest despite her illness and the pandemic, making mischief and sharing joy with those she loved.
She faced down her illness with humour, resilience and strength.
Di came to the Bar after a career as a teacher. She was generous with her advice and wisdom, touching the lives of many. To meet her was to know you were in the presence of an extraordinary woman, one of a kind.
She was a very talented lawyer, possessed of tactical acuity, and a natural jury advocate. She had a magnetic presence in the courtroom.
She was knowledgeable, inspirational and incredible company.
We will miss her greatly.
