Russell Fraser of the Garden Court Chambers Crime Team represented AH in a week-long trial at Southwark Crown Court. Russell was instructed by Karen Stubbs of Edward Fail, Bradshaw & Waterson Solicitors.
The Crown alleged that following an argument in the street, the defendant deliberately drove his vehicle at the complainant, breaking both his legs.
The defendant said the injuries resulted from an accident after he drove off when the complainant threatened to cut his throat.
AH was found not guilty of grievous bodily harm with intent and was also acquitted of a less serious alternative.
