The director of a West London meat business has been acquitted of a company cloning fraud by a jury at Leeds Crown Court. Martin Huseyin of Garden Court Chambers represented the defendant.
The defendant was accused of being the administrator of a fraud by which meat worth hundreds of thousands of pounds was fraudulently obtained from suppliers across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
Martin Huseyin was instructed by S.S Basi and Co, Ilford.
