Michael Goold represented the Appellant in a successful appeal against a 20 year extended sentence imposed some two and half years earlier for a serious offence of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Michael successfully argued that an extended sentence should not have been imposed. The Court quashed the sentence and replaced it with a determinate, 15 year sentence.
Michael is a member of the Garden Court Chambers Criminal Defence Team.
