Much of the Immigration Asylum & Nationality Act 2006 is now in force. Its ultimate effects will include denying rights of appeal to applicants from abroad, changing the employment regime for employers, limiting access to protection under the Refugee Convention for those suspected of ￯ïx¿ïx¯ï¿¯xïx¿ï¿¯xïx¢ï¿¯ïx¿ïx¯x￯xïx€ï¿¯ïx¿ïx¯x￯xïxœterrorism￯ïx¿ïx¯ï¿¯xïx¿ï¿¯xïx¢ï¿¯ïx¿ïx¯x￯xïx€ï¿¯ïx¿ïx¯x￯xïx?, extending the powers of immigration officers, and increasing powers to strip individuals of citizenship or right of abode.
