Shenda is part of the Revenue Control team, and her role provides assistance and support for Inter Partes (IP) and Conditional Fees Agreement (CFA) debt recovery. Her role also includes taking part in negotiations to achieve the best possible recovery.
The team deals with receiving and considering the Points of Dispute, liaising with Counsels, Solicitors and costs draftsmen, and discussions regarding offers and negotiations.
Background
Before joining the Inter Partes department, Shenda dealt with Housing, Social Welfare and Civil Credit Control. Afterwards, she dealt with the Controlled Legal Representation (CLR) funding type, where she effectively followed up and chased payment matters.
Shenda has prior experience working in a legal department for almost three years as a Legal Expert. Her main priorities were identifying potential projects and dealing with legal aspects, such as drafting contracts, requests, and authorizations regarding the procurement procedures.
When she is not at work, she is either reading, training, travelling or socialising, because Shenda believes that work-life balance is what we need to be happy and successful professionals.
