Mahmooda Daud joined Garden Court Chambers in June 2019, as part of the Revenue Control team, where she is responsible for Private Credit Control and assists with Family FAS/FGF Billing processes and queries.
Prior to joining Garden Court, Mahmooda worked as a Fees Clerk at 4 Paper Buildings dealing with FAS/local authority billing, aged debt management, members monthly financial reports, processing high cost case billing and managing queries from solicitors and external contacts.
Mahmooda has developed a wealth of experience at Chambers, having also previously worked at Senate House Chambers as a Senior Fees clerk and trained at 2 Dr Johnsons Chambers. Before transitioning into the legal sector, her talents were deployed in Operational Risk at the Royal Bank of Scotland where her role demanded meticulous attention to detail to identify system abuse and process breaches.
In her spare time, Mahmooda enjoys cooking, beach holidays and the occasional swim.
