Garden Court Chambers is a large and dynamic Barristers' Chambers with a team of staff who provide the clerking, financial, marketing and administrative support for over 190 barristers.

We now have a vacancy within the Family Law Practice Management Team for a Deputy Family Practice Manager.
As the largest barristers’ chambers in London, we offer unrivalled inter-disciplinary expertise. We are routinely instructed in cases that crossover between family law and other areas of law including immigration, housing, welfare benefits, mental health, community care, Court of Protection and crime.
Our family law barristers have a reputation for tough and effective advocacy in court, and we are adept at representing vulnerable clients. We offer expert, practical legal advice across all areas of family law, from financial disputes to the welfare of children.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and conscientious person to assist and support our Family Law Team. The successful candidate will have experience in either solicitors’ firm or within a Barristers’ Chambers, but we are happy to consider candidates with other appropriate experience.
The post requires good organisational and administrative skills, and excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner.
This post would suit candidates from paralegal, clerking or other similar backgrounds.
SALARY, BENEFITS AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS
• This position attracts a salary of up to £35,000 pa, plus a range of staff benefits.
• Hours: 9.00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday, with one hour for lunch
• Holidays: 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays)
• Interest-free season ticket loan
