We are delighted to announce that Naomi Wiseman, a children law and matrimonial finance specialist, has joined Garden Court Chambers. Naomi was previously a tenant at QEB Chambers.
Ranked by Chambers and Partners for children and finance work, Naomi has a wide range of financial remedies experience and appears in courts of all levels, including the High Court. She undertakes a full range of children work including internal and international relocation, child arrangements applications, and representing parents, grandparents and local authorities in public law proceedings. Naomi has also joined Garden Court’s Court of Protection and Community Care teams, drawing on her expertise in dealing with extremely vulnerable clients and children.
Naomi was called to the Bar in 2011 and her diverse experience includes working with Malawi’s Legal Aid Department helping to defend people accused of capital crimes, working as a legal adviser at Toynbee Hall’s Free Legal Advice Centre in London, and working on the Obama campaign in North Carolina in 2008. She also ran the All Party Parliamentary Group for Children as part of her policy role at the National Children’s Bureau.
