James is a family law practitioner specialising in children’s law, international family law and financial remedies.
Called to the Bar in 2011, James’s practice covers all aspects of children’s law. He has particular expertise in public law proceedings including care, supervision and adoption. James regularly appears in the High Court and Family Court on behalf of parents, Guardians and Local Authorities.
James is committed to pro bono work. He is a Legal Adviser and Trustee of the Temple Legal Centre, a charity which provides free and independent legal advice on family law matters to those who are unable to afford it.
James, who previously practiced at 1 Gray’s Inn Square and Trinity Chambers, also joins Garden Court’s International Family Law Team.
