Does climate change violate children’s human rights? Marc Willers QC certainly thinks so. Marc is representing a group of Portuguese children and young adults who have brought an unprecedented climate change case against 33 countries to the European Court of Human Rights. Commenting on the case in the media Marc said: and is quoted as saying: “It is no exaggeration to say that this could be the most important case ever tried by the European Court of Human Rights,”

Marc is a long standing ELF member and practises at Garden Court Chambers and we are delighted that he has agreed to talk to ELF’s university clinic network about his ground breaking case.

Please join us on the 25th February at 12’o clock for what will be a fascinating talk by one of our most radical and interesting QC’s on the circuit. After Marc’s talk there will be a 20 minute opportunity for questions.
