Keir Monteith was instructed by Mohsin Ariff at Lloyds PR Solicitors on behalf of the defendant, AT.

Keir’s client, AT, faced an allegation that he conspired to supply 38 kilos of cocaine with a street value of £3.8 million.

AT was also accused of associated money laundering allegations. If convicted he would have faced a sentence of about 20 years custody. However, after Keir drafted a proactive defence statement the case was reviewed by the prosecution.

On Friday 26th October the Crown Prosecution Service decided to offer ‘no evidence’ and not guilty verdicts were entered.
