Rabiah joined the Direct Access team at Garden Court Chambers as an administrator in January 2021. She undertakes all administrative tasks in respect of Direct Access cases and is one of the primary points of contact for members of the public.
Background
Rabiah is currently pursuing a LLM in Public Law at University College London. She was awarded a fully funded scholarship from Aziz Foundation in order to pursue her LLM.
She has previously worked as a legal assistant at Javed Nazir Solicitors and has clerked at the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Her legal interest include crime, prison law and actions against the police.
Rabiah has worked as a researcher for Zahid Mubarek Trust, a national advocacy charity on race equality in the prison system. She has also worked as an inquiry assistant for the APPG on legal aid.
Rabiah is passionate about social mobility, social justice and access to justice.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, travelling and trying different cuisines.
