Ernestina is one of the primary points of contact for members of the public looking for legal advice and representation from Garden Court’s Public Access barristers.
Prior to joining Garden Court Chambers, Ernestina worked at City University, London as a receptionist, academic caseworker, student advisor and administrator. She has also developed her legal experience through working as an Immigration caseworker, as well as a legal volunteer for the Prisoner’s Advice Service.
Ernestina is passionate about speaking up for the needs of those who are not always heard. She believes that restoration and support should be offered to those who seek change and want to build a better life. Ernestina has a particular interest in Children and Immigration law, but is open to developing her knowledge in other areas too.
Ernestina joined Garden Court Chambers in April 2018.
- Ernestina has an LLB from the University of Kent, where she got a 2:1. Following on from this she completed the Bar Professional Training Course, achieving Very Competent, and was called to the Bar in March 2017.
