Annabelle joined Garden Court Chambers in 2015 as a paralegal, and became the team supervisor of the Public Access Team in 2016.
She returned to Garden Court as a Civil and Housing team Assistant in January 2019 after a brief time away from Chambers.
She is responsible for the day to day management of the Civil and Housing Team diary. She ensures that all enquiries are efficiently handled and that Chambers’ relationships are maintained.
She is highly experienced at helping individuals get the legal assistance they need, having worked at the Bar Pro-Bono Unit, Citizens Advice Bureau, and at the Advice on Individual Rights in Europe (“AIRE”) Centre, before joining us in 2015. She also worked in a Legal Clinic in Cape Town South Africa.
Originally from France, Annabelle moved to the UK in 2012. After a brief stint back in France, she returned permanently in the UK in January 2019. She is fluent in both English and French. In her spare time, she enjoys jazz and salsa dancing, teaching French, and has a keen interest in interior design. She has participated in several dance marathons for charity.
