The pair were charged with the offence of Squatting in a Residential Building under s144 LASPOA 2012. However, the property was occupied on a rota basis with no individual "living" there. The judge upheld a submission of no case to answer due to insufficient evidence of trespass.

The case has been reported in the media, including by the Camden New Journal and the Evening Standard.

One of the defendants was represented by Owen Greenhall. He was instructed by Mike Schwarz of Bindmans LLP.
