The (then) 18-year-old defendant was acquitted of murder following a 6-week multi-handed trial at Woolwich Crown Court.
The case involved a legal argument about the admissibility of drill lyrics, and a careful examination of the pathological evidence to reframe the time period when the significant injuries contributing to death occurred.
The Judge excluded the drill lyrics and YouTube video which the prosecution had argued amounted to a confession.
