JUNIOR CLERK (Crime Team)

Garden Court Chambers is a large and dynamic Barristers' Chambers with a team of staff who provide the clerking, financial and administrative support for over a 130 barristers. We are based in a beautiful old building in Lincoln's Inn Fields, a green and attractive part of London close to Holborn tube station and a range of shops, bars and restaurants.

We now have the following vacancy:

JUNIOR CLERK - Crime Team

We are seeking an enthusiastic and conscientious person to assist and support our clerking team with at least 12 months clerking or administration experience within a barristers chambers. This candidate will be working very closely within a team of 4.

The post requires good organisational and administrative skills and a good telephone manner.
You will see from the job description that the daily tasks of a Junior Clerk at Garden Court are wide ranging and interesting. We deal with very high profile cases so confidentiality is imperative within this role. Computer literacy and accuracy are essential.

Starting salary: circa £15,000 per annum according to experience
Hours 8:45am - 6:00pm.
Holidays - 20 days per annum pro rata (excluding bank holidays) + 2 ½ discretionary days between Christmas and New Year.
