Garden Court Chambers is a number one ranked barristers’ chambers committed to human rights, social justice and equality. These principles are reflected throughout our work and embodied in our motto, “Do right, fear no one”. Most of our barristers are also individually ranked in Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500 across a number of jurisdictions.

We have a proud history of winning ground-breaking cases of constitutional importance. Our legal challenges have overturned great injustices in many landmark decisions. Equally, our barristers fight hard for cases that do not hit the headlines but are nonetheless vital for defending the rights of those we represent.

Our growing Court of Protection team is looking to recruit at least two practitioners, with experience in Mental Capacity law and working in the Court of Protection, as part of its planned expansion. The team is very busy and has an increasing supply of work in this area of law.

This recruitment also provides an opportunity for practitioners to develop their practice in other areas of law within Garden Court Chambers. As a multi-disciplinary chambers, Court of Protection practitioners collaborate across practice areas, which allows the development of a primary practice alongside other areas such as Community Care,  Education and Mental Health which is actively supported.
