CrimeMichael has acted in numerous criminal defence cases, over recent years as Leading Counsel. He l is instructed in all types of serious crime including murder, serious sexual offences, offences of violence including GBH and aggravated burglary and in particular substantial and complicated drug offences. In addition some recent cases concerning The Proceeds of Crime Act. Human RightsIn particular in the context of domestic criminal law though also some Strasbourg cases concerning individual applicants from other jurisdictions. Aside from his criminal context Michael is involved in several aspects of Human Rights including conducting trial observations, preparing published reports and occasional lecturing in Human Rights in international jurisdictions.
