PracticeAlex's practice covers criminal defence work in all areas of fraud and deception through to murder, attempted murder and rape. Alex has had extensive experience in major drugs trials covering conspiracy to import and supply drugs. Other cases covered include armed robbery, kidnap, false imprisonment, firearms and public order offences. He has successfully argued numerous abused process cases involving young defendants, failures to comply with Criminal Procedure Investigation Act and general police powers under PACE. Over the last 10 years Alex has been involved in many high profile cases involving the use of firearms throughout the country. Some of the parties he has represented were: Megga man from So Solid Crew, members of the K2 Family, members of Big Brothers, members of both the Johnson Crew and Burger Boys in Birmingham. Alex also represented the man who was alleged to have had a liasion with Ron Davies MP (the then secretary of state for Wales) Other cases of note were the dismembered body in the Regents Canal case. Before being called to the Bar in 1989, Alex developed his interest in criminal defence work whilst working as a solicitor in Tottenham. Here he was active in advice work following the Broadwater Farm disturbances. Over the past few years Alex has represented many clients whose cases have had significant involvement from officers from 'Trident' and the National Crime Squad.
